Joan Namutebi, a daughter to Gayaza High School Supremo has passed on due to complications she suffered as she attempted to enroll in family planning. Joan was married to Derrick Wabwiire. At the facility, the couple opted for an Intra-Uterine Device -IUD to be inserted into her. It is also reported that before this procedure was carried out, she was asked to take enough water which she did. However, moments later, Joan started feeling stomach pains which made her faint. She subsequently went into a coma until Friday morning when she passed on. Joan and Derrick Wabwire wedded last Friday.
