Makerere University NUP supporters threaten to impeach Guild President Nambassa over dining with NRM

Shamim Nambassa is accused of secretly meeting some big pants in NRM like Dombo Emmanuel and Okot Boniface, the youth MP for Northern Uganda

A section of Makerere University students has bashed their guild president Shamim Nambassa claiming that she switched sides from NUP to NRM These mainly championed by the NUP addicts at the University have threatened to impeach the Guild President H.E Nambassa Shamim through the Guild Representative Council.

“She used our Party for selfish reasons but now we can see where she fully falls. She has been meeting with the Big Names in NRM including the Spokesperson of NRM and we all know how Dombo is good at recruiting for the government” a One Jaxta who happened to be among the lead campaigners of Nambassa said.

He adds they have the biggest numbers in the Guild Representative Council and can use it to impeach Nambassa if her acts remain in support of the ruling government.

The criticism comes after various engagements between Nambassa and some big Names in NRM including Dombo Emmanuel and Okot Boniface, the youth member of parliament for northern Uganda.

Shamim Nambassa who was accompanied by the 87th guild speaker Gatuya Mucyo met Honourable Emmanuel Dombo and Okot Boniface on Thursday, April 21st, 2022.

Makerere University’s 87th guild president has recently been visiting and inviting the institution’s former prominent students to the Homecoming alumni dinner happening on the 12th of May.

She also visited the Democratic Party, President Norbert Mao, on Thursday this week who was once a Guild President at Makerere.
