
Ogwang Robinson, the MUBS Guild President is being accused by one of his cabinet ministers who claims that there have been irregularities in the allowances received by different members of the Guild.
The Guild President of Makerere University Business School (MUBS), Mr. Ogwang Robinson, has been accused of embezzlement of a staggering 21 million Uganda Shilling in guild funds.
Mr. Ogwang came into office earlier this year after being elected into office with a landslide victory over his opponents.
Ogwang is being accused by one of his cabinet ministers who claims that there have been irregularities in the allowances received by different members of the Guild.
These development come shortly after students completed their examinations which were done online in a period of about one week.
According to the accusing, some of the members of the Guild have not received any allowances since they assumed office. These include some GRCs, course leaders, and some ministers on the Guild Cabinet.
Some of the top Cabinet members like the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Ssekta have also come out to criticize Ogwang and ask for him to give accountability for the funds which had been disbursed to them by the University Board to aid in the campaigns that they decided to undertake.
Despite all the backlash that has arisen due to complaints and accusations, Mr. Ogwang has not come out to make any comment or to try to clear his name.
