“Museveni’s side chic” poem writer , Annah Ashaba, a Makerere University graduate was over the weekend summoned to meet with the Internal Security Organization (ISO) Deputy Director General.

Ashaba, who wrote a short poem about being Museveni’s side chic who seduces him to make positive policy reforms in politics, education and other areas like the economy, met with Lt. Col. Emmy Katabazi, the ISO Director General on Saturday following her popularized poem.

“Yesterday, I met with the DDG of ISO Lt.Col Emmy Katabazi. I appreciate the dialogical approach and civility he used in regards to my poem “I want to be Museveni’s side chic”. We can always agree to disagree without fear of (and use of) torture, blackmail, drones and prison.” Ashaba posted on her social media platforms.

Campus Trend Ug has since learned that the main subject of their meeting was to discuss her popular poem which has since garnered over 2,800 likes and 1,100 retweets on Twitter in just one week.

An excerpt from her poem reads; “I want to be Museveni’s side chic so that during those cozy moments, I tell him that the thought of schools still closed turns me off. I want to let him touch touch me slow and then when he’s charged for action, I tell him that the education crisis dried my feelings.”
