SHOCKER! MUBS throws unvaccinated students out as physical classes commence

MUBS denied unvaccinated students entry into the Nakawa based Campus as physical lectures commenced. They were advised to vaccinate first.

Unvaccinated students at MUBS were denied entry into the Nakawa campus under the premise of not being vaccinated.

Makerere University Business School (MUBS) has today denied entry of unvaccinated students onto the campus grounds as the University opened for physical teaching.

MUBS, which recently announced a one-week delay in its lecture schedule compared to other institutions opened its gates for University students after a five months break.

However, security was tight and checkpoints were instituted at the entry points into the Nakawa Campus, as students were required to present vaccination cards upon arrival as proof of vaccination before they could be let in onto campus grounds.

Campus Trend Ug spotted several students who had been turned back roaming the Nakawa streets to find the nearest health facility that could offer them vaccination services.

It should be noted that year one student at MUBS reported for face-to-face learning today, 8th November 2021 and shall undergo these until 21st November.

Second-year students on the other hand shall have online lectures from 8th November to 21st November 2021 and then switch to face-to-face lectures at the campus from 22nd November to 6th December.

In the same manner, the third-year students shall undergo online learning from 8th November to 6th December after which, they shall report to campus for physical learning until 19th November.

Examinations for all three years at Makerere University Business School shall be ongoing from 17th January until 4th February 2022.
