VIDEO: Drama and Teargas as MUBS Student flees with a ballot box

MUBS students were protesting the manner in which the highly contested elections were conducted by the University electoral commission.

On Wednesday, police used rubber bullets and teargas to disperse chaos at Makerere University Business School(MUBS)

The students were protesting the manner in which the high contest elections were conducted by the University electoral commission.

The chaos started when students realized that NRM flag bearer Nimrod Kakayi’s name was missing on the ballot box upon his arrival at the polling station.

Also, some of the students that had turned up to vote had their names missing from the ballot papers something that fueled the protest.
