VIDEO: Man nabbed red-handed in UCU’s Little Angels Girls’ Hostel

In a video captured by one of the students, an askari is seen whipping the intruder as the custodian watches from a distance.

A yet to be identified man of about 25 years of age was nabbed inside Uganda Christian University (UCU) ‘s little angels girls’ hall in Mukono on Saturday night.

At around 10 pm, a man was discovered inside the hall’s premises by students who notified the security officers. These intervened quickly and had him arrested.

In a video captured by one of the students, an askari is seen whipping the intruder as the custodian watches from a distance.

The man was later forced to make mention of what brought him to a girls’ hostel as he faced the cameras.  He insisted that he wouldn’t say anything for fear of being posted on YouTube. “Wacchiri munkuube munziite kuuba mwagala kunteeka ku YouTube,” he said in a recording.

The students however confirmed that he is alleged to have sneaked into the hall hoping to get himself hawkers that he normally gets at  3000 Ugandan shillings.

By press time, the particulars of this man had not yet been captured and his real intentions for sneaking into the hall had not yet been confirmed.

However, the students strongly believe that he is a thug who had come to take their property.
