Keneth Amponda will be remembered among the best performers among UCU’s Guild president despite his tenure happening in the Covid times.
Amponda’s reign ended late November this year and as a thank you note to the Students community, his government has filled up litter bins in a bid to conserve the environment.
“This has been our fight, we have championed the conservation of the environment since we came to these offices. It’s now out there that these bins will serve the Students and everyone around Campus” one of the former Minister’s told our Snoop.
As we write this, the litter bins are still stationed at the “Purple village” the Guild offices but we have been reliably informed they will be stationed at the Dining Hall, Sabitti, and Nsibambi Hall. They are three numbers.
The 24th Guild government took oath on Thursday this week, Mirembe Racheal Serwadda is the Current Guild President of UCU.
